Your Bio

Photography and bicycling are interests of mine. I take pictures in my back yard and in about a twenty mile radius from my home, often on walks or bike rides. That twenty mile radius takes me through pretty countryside, past fresh water ponds and streams, along salt water rivers and to salt water harbors.

It takes time to get off the bike and get my camera ready, so I don't capture too many fast moving creatures. Roadside flowers (often fully as beautiful as their hybridized garden cousins) landscapes, water scenes and the occassional slow moving turtle are more achievable. The light and the wind create rapid changes, even from moment to moment. Watching the scenes and the seasons go by from the seat of my bicycle are great pleasures.

Some flowers, daisies, lilies, day lilies, roses among them, photograph beautifully, seemingly posing. Others are not as cooperative.

Birds are always fun, colorful, quick and interesting to watch.

Welcome, and enjoying exploring my gardens and the scenes I see from my bicycle.
